Icon View Type Keeps Changing

I have a seperate folder on my desktop for all my icons so my desktop doesnt get cluttered. But I like it on the view type 'icons', but it changes a lot to 'tiles'. I have Windows XP SP1 Home. I have remember folder settings on. Anyone know why it keeps changing?

is you hdd ntfs? reason i ask is because my two ntfs partitions if i select view as list it stays as list but when i do the same on my fat 32 partition it reverts to icons.
i think i would like to know as much as you B)

Yes, its ntfs

EDIT: But its just with this one folder, I will remake another one.

It just changed again

EDIT: It was just the icons in 1 folder inside the folder, and the other ones didnt change, so I will let you know if the other ones change.

Now all of them changed, this is annoying.
