Does anyone know how often the PG database is updated. Also how? How do they come by this information?

i think its quite random since one time i had to update 3 times in one day, and one time there wasnt an update for 2 weeks

speaking of pg, on the site http://xs.tech.nu/ it mentions pg v.1.99b pr7 and pr8. whats the difference? and peerguardian is just a firwall type thing?

Ranges are submitted and checked at the PG site.
Frequency varies.

Use Blocklist Manager for different apps and ZAUpdate for Zone Alarm...
