I want to get a digital camcorder and I wanted to know if THIS on would hook right up to my computer so I could put my video on to it and if it is a pretty good digital video camcorder for its price? Thanks

as for brand, jvc is nice, I have panasonic
you will need a firewire card and your in buisness as far as hooking it up to your pc, my complaint is no light or even a hotshoe for adding a light later

in case you dont know what that mean, it can hook up to your firewire port.Link Digital Input/Output (IEEE 1394 compliant) DV in/out.

I would go with the first one you posted... I've always liked jvc and they make great camcorders... i used to have 5 jvc mini dv cams but now i only have one.i got rid of the other....

oh nm, saw the other 2 link...i would go w/ cannon becuz i can trust them...i dotn know about jvc....and the cannon is more stylish
