Is it normal if i have a green status light, but im only uploading at 3-5kB/s, I have Upload speed of 256kb or 32kB/s and im only uploading very slowly, btw BT is set to unlimited uploads.

It is close to the start of my download but i fear that because no one wants my upload bandwidth that im gettin slow DL speeds.

    Edit:

After reading this it sounds confusing so heres a sum up:

    -I have 1500/256 DSL

-BT has been running for 1 hour

    -My download speed is 5kB/s

    -My upload speed is 4kB/s

    -Status light is green

-BT is set to unlimited uploads

Am i downloading slow because of my upload speed??
If yes how do i increase it.

if you increase how many people can upload from you then chances are your uload speed will increase as well although i never have to connect to more then 8 and my connection is a bit slower then yours(27KB/s upload)
sometimes tho if there are a lot of seeds and not many peers theres nowt you can do about it

On torrentstorm, you can see how many peer and seeds there are total and how many are connected to you. There are also connection settings as well. You can check that client out.

But it could also depedn on how many downloads/uploads you got going. If you have many, then it could just be a bandwidth limitation.
