Thread: West Coast Vs. East Coast

actually right about now the biggest selling and best artists are coming outta MIDWEST, which is eminem, 50cent,obie, nelly [sells masses but aint nutin good], etc so at moment is midwest but on skill and variety i wuld most likely go wid EAST as west was only ever PAC, SNoop, DRE, Xzhibit whereas east has BIG, WUTANG, LOX, NAS, JAYZ, CNN etc

West side and East side was just made my de MEDIA because of the conflicts between Tupac and Notorious BIG.

After they both died it stopped..

so West/East was just a media Hype nothing more

    So I don't Vote

This topic title brings back the media hyped east vs west that happened back in the 90s.

There's no East Coast, theirs no West Coast. It's all One Nation.

Just got back from work and saw my poll had been made. Thanks GS!! I wasn't intending to go over all the old East/West bullshit that supposedly led to the deaths of Tupac Shakur and Biggie Smalls. I was simply interested in what the Hip Hop fans on this forum had to say and which musical style they were into. I don't need to read a list of artists from the relevent areas - that's for another thread.

Personally I have to go with the East coast, it's the source and 90% of my favourite tunes come out of the East.

I criminally forgot to include the South, Midwest, UK, Scandinavian, etc - sorry. Maybe the poll could be amended.
