Karaoke Help!?

I bought a karaoke machine and I was wondering if there are full cd-g files available. When I type cd-g it gives me a bunch of MP3 files without vocals. Are there readable lyrics somewhere in this file and it just needs to be converted to CD/G or are these just MP3's without lyrics?
