We also have a decorated geologist (the 15-year-old's 46-year-old father) and a certain "Monkster" (of uncertain/undeclared age on board.

We are currently in debate over whether to allow anyone into our club who has entered his/her 6th decade.

We will make exceptions for credentialed people who agree with us.

No, people ASSUMED that the Earth was flat as implied in the Bible. No scientist ever stepped forward to offer proof that the Earth was flat. It was just accepted without any effort at confirmation.

People should have learned that the Bible is just a metaphor from Genesis.
