    I am currently using DMC as my cd-mp3 codec, and Nero 5.5.9.0 to copy mp3s to cd format. is there a better or faster way?

    What are you actually using DMC for (sorry I have not heard of it before). And you should look at getting later version of Nero.

    Nero can copy directly from CD to CD too.

    If you really want MP3 too, then use EAC and LAME MP3 encoder
