    hi, does anyone share dvd-r (dvd image) over IRC?
    if yes, which network and channel?

    It may be worth having a look on the dvdr torrent sites to see if they have a channel that serves mate.

    Not many do that, because IRC is not the most ideal protocol to share such big files.
    What jay973 says is true. A lot of sites/forums/rooms combine p2p protocols.
    For example dvdr.torrentskickass.com use their IRC room to distribute torrentfiles for their dvdr's.

    Still there are a few IRC rooms dedicated to DVD-R downloads:
    #Dvd4u @ irc.efnet.net
    #dvd_r @ irc.inter.net.il

    irc.inter.net.il is Internet Zahav's (Israeli ISP - assuming your not from Israel and already know that ) EFNET server

    Yep, it was just a simple copy-paste from IRCSpy. You can enter any EFnet server, but I thought that was too much work
