    I'd suggest a modest XP+ CPU, an nForce2 board such as the A7V8X-X, a GF4 type gfx card and 256MB of PC3200. Throw in a cheap 40G HDD as well.
    That ain't anywhere near top notch but you can crank up the FSB on the CPU and synch it with the RAM. The gfx won't be great but they'll be a helluva lot better than what he's got.

    Dunno what the cost would be in Canadian but I'd thought it possible to put that together for around the £220UK mark.

    I work my ass off all the time thank you. I gotta keep up the yard and do everything to do with that, and I work out 2 hours a day for football.

    Yeah..im 15 so i cant get a job...lol otherwise id have one.

    I dont have money laying around....we needed a new computer so my grandparents game me 500dollars and my aunt gave me 50 and another aunt like 30 and my parents covered the rest for my xmas present.

    I got a 4.0 this semester...kinda hard lol. Yeah...none of the companies or anything will let anyone under 16 work for them cuz of liability. I love to partyy. I had 4 girls on new years B)

    Bloodyhell that's not a lot.

    Looks like a gfx card to alleviate the load a little, and a HDD to store all those mp3s.
