Does anybody know how to port forward with a smc barricade router?
I would like to get faster downloads because I am using overnet and getting like 3kbps downloads With dsl
Also...
1. Is port forwarding safe?
2. Can i just unplug my router, and have my modem directly plugged into my computer and get the same effects as port forwarding?
Thanks in advance for the help!!

To get back to you guys on what happened when i just plugged my computer in without a router...
I was getting green light on Bittorrent.
I did not get the firewall notice on overnet lite either.
however my computer would restart automatically, it was with warning, i think it was a afraid of viruses.
