    ive just downloaded office XP 404 MB. My question is can it run on win 2k Pro? ive just tryed the EXE on word and it says its not configured to run on this OS is there a way?? if so how?

    Hmm, I know it worked for WindowsMe when I ran with ME. That was a FAT32 platform, and since Windows2000 is NTFS like XP, I see no reason why it won't work with 2000. Perhaps you have a bad copy of OfficeXP.

    Yeah I got down Office XP Pro.iso, but its over 200mb larger than your file. I mounted it with Daemon tools, and it works fine with my Win2KPro...looks like you need another download maybe??

    did u run the install or just go to cd and try too run the word exe
    it wont work unless u install it to ur system
    the reasion u got a smaller file then some others is cuss some one probly deleated some of the extras that come with the full version
    the real version comes on like 4 disks and has all kinds of extra junk on em as well as some other progs

    I have had that 400 meg version but had a few problems when it came to upgrading it and the way to get it to work is to rename it to an iso file instead of an exe and it will work
