Thread: *.exe File

1. #1
could anybody help me with the *.exe file?

i've downloaded few games/programs from kazaa lite. the type of file is *.exe.

when i click on it, it comes out with new small screen which says

"program too big to fit in memory".

i've try to look around this forum to find the solution but could'nt find it. maybe because i don't know what the program called.

plzz help me.

just wondering if you actually looked before you clicked to d/l

ive never had that kind of error, but i get most of my apps from emule
(less corruption)
only have a 256 meg ram, and never anything like that.....
what the hell, hang out here, someone could probably help ya,
id just chalk it up to corruption, but im no expert, and could be way wrong

but hey, you say its doing this on all klite d/l's?
i KNOW klite doesnt have 100% corrupted files,
so some kind of system prob? not sure.....

hang out for a while, theres some good & helpful people around,
just have to be patient

my xp is dutch, but you can use the picture to get the idea where the option is: extension show/not (sry if you have slow connection)

after that change the .exe to .iso or .bin

Try doing few things. Go to properties and go in Compatibility Mode. And Select Run this Program in Compatibility mode for "Windows 98" or Windows 95. Try running it.
If that doesnt work after changing the compatibility mode play with different memory and graphic mode.

Some of the problems i had earlier like this in xp was resolved through this. So it might just work for you as well

Normally, that error comes if you dont have enough memory to run the application. As XP requires more than Win98se so you might not have enough. Plus if its a bad application then the allocated memory might too big than required.
In any case, try the above, it might work
