Universal Studios Urgent Letter

i got a letter from universal studios that i have downloaded one of there movies (whitch i did ) intolerable cruilty and i should get rid of it immediantly i downloaded it from supernova do i just have to delete it to my recycle bin what do i do please help

yeah, burn it to disc & delete the file
you could probably avoid seeing any more messages like this if you
update your blocklists and put em in your firewall

edit - if you dont have emule or klite bad ip blocklists,
pm me and i'll get you an updated one

Just out of curiosity, were you also sharing this file in Kazaa or eMule, or did they track you while you were downloading with Bittorrent?

now how many time have we went over this?

blocklists have limited effect against RIAA/MPAA, since they would conduct their investigation with just any computer, hired guns, they dont necessarily need to do it from their own ip ranges. Hence if you only block THEIR ip range it's not for sure u'll be ever caught again.

i've removed all blocklists from my system since they slow down my computer's performance and internet speed

err....i said 'probably avoid'
not concrete, but it helps
nothings 100%, unless you just dont d/l or share,
but wheres the fun in that?

and ive never seen any difference in performance from having my list
other than not being able to connect to a blocked site
