Thread: Mpeg To Dvd

1. #1
Hi all,
Hope this hasnt been asked before otherwise please refer me to the post.

I have an mpeg which was converted from VHS and is about 7gb. It wont fit on a regular dvd r disc. So I am going to use two dvd's.

So I have two questions:

A good software to help me break this mpeg into two files and then a software that will let me burn this mpeg in to dvd.

I had pinnacle studio. I broke it into four chapters and made two projects, tried burning each project to disc. There was sound with the first chapter but not the second chapter in the first dvd.

This is my third time using dvd writer, its not mine so have explored much other than doom9.
If you any good softwares let me know

Any help is appreciated,
Thanks,
I.am

hi there !
i use sonic foundry vegas 4 for video editing.
for large files i just create a start point and play
video up to a certain point then i create an end point.
you then go back into video and do the same for balance of project.
i always use Nero Vision Express for DVD burning. (6.3)
regards
