Thread: Went From Win98 To Winxp Now Downloads Are Too Slo

    since i upgraded my system my downloads are now so annoyingly slow. I have high speed cable and with windows 98 my downloads were so fast. I share my files and people are uploading at 20kb/s+ from me but it takes me 2 hours to download a 100,000kb file with 90 users! :helpsmile: :helpsmile: :helpsmile:

    Did you disable or reconfigure the Win XP built-in firewall?
    If not, it's locking you out of over 1/2 the FastTrack network!

    Actually, I still use Win 98SE with all the patches.

    However, it's probably under network settings, which is under control panel somewhere...
