    Yup thats the good old piece of shit. Mine is set to turbo right now, but i have tried all the combos like optimal and shit but nothin works

    Hmmm. Maybe if your motherboard is pretty new you could send it back...and get a diff mobo.

    Has the CPU been used on another board or is it new also? If it's new then CPU could be faulty.

    I don&#39;t think his CPU would be locked.I have an XP 1900+ that has the Palomino core and it isn&#39;t locked.

    If it&#39;s locked it would be locked at 11.5 so that&#39;s not the problem.

    Chapter 2
    2-2 Setting Your CPU’s Performance:
    Frequency Configuration:
    If you install a CPU on this motherboard, you must set the [Front Side Bus
    Frequency] JP25 according to your processor.
    CPU Speed = Multiplier x FSB Frequency
    You do not need to make voltage settings because this board will automatically
    set your CPU voltage.
    What position is the JP25 jumper set to?

    its set to 133/166, its default position
