I once converted a small movie into all the formats
and then converted them using different compressors
(i nolonger have the statistics)

and came to the fast conclusion that
mpeg movies came out smaller but less quality
avi bigger and better

as with compressors
divx5 came out best and smallest
then "old avi" (as in virtual dub it says saves as "old avi" whatever that is
then xvid
