I looked some time ago and could never find one.

This is something i can actually do myself - the midi playback software i use has a midi-wav renderer built in, and from there encoding to mp3 is simple enough. If you dont mind spending the $'s, look up "Virtual Sound Canvas" by roland (now edirol, i think). There's a demo on their driver's page hidden at the bottom - might want to at least listen to it before buying it.

If its free you want, i used to use something called "Midig", a freeware project. Its MS-DOS based, so a little more complex to use, but it gets the job done.

Otherwise, your in for a long search. those are the only two i've been able to find (there are plenty of pay-to-use ones, but most dont even offer a demo for quality comparison first ) up 'til now,

Yes, but if your going to sell cd's with the stuff on, you can't very well list "Pirated copy of [insert name of software here]" in the credits, can you? people tend to take exception to that.
