Bittorrent Routing

I need some tips on configuring bittorrent to work well, im using shadows client and the light is always yellow.

My network is set up in my house so that i am connected through a phoneline card to the main computer, which is connected to the cable modem through a router with a firewall (Netgear WGR614 v2)

Do i need to change settings in the network, the router or both to allow incoming connections?

Ok i port forwarded succesfully on the main computer BT works green over there, however the light is still yellow on my computer.
How do i fix the netowork settings so it works here?
