There's been some Debate about the Bitrates.
Here's our change to see what we members use.

Added Windows Media Audio at 64k for Low-End users,
CBR 128k users can click on WMA64 for it is the same "Quality"

Please, lets try to Debate about the Good and Bad sides on any of these options,
not Argue about it. If you have a really good point(s) why you think one of
these RipRates is Teh Best, share your wisdom.

There is a Pinned Topic made by Paul if someone wants to see some info of VBR files...
CBR stands for Constant BitRate, VBR is for Variable BitRate.

I rip as in the Pinned Topic (vbr), but when EAC fails to read my "very-well-used"
CD's i use Steinberg WaveLab 4 with Lame (vbr highest quality)

I prefer to download stuff at 192k and/or over, rarely go under that.
But i do have few at 128k, which im looking for replacements, rare, hard to find stuff.
I dont have WMA files tho, maybe some videos files, but no Music.

    cbr 192 for me
On a given day or given circumstance, you think you have a limit.
And you then go for this limit and you touch this limit and you think "Ok, this is the limit".
As soon as you touch this limit, something happens and you suddenly can go a little bit further.
With your mind power, your determination, your instinct and the experience as well, you can fly very high.

This is a hard choice. For me it is either CBR or VBR(does not matter really). But the thing is anything below 224 Bitrate is starting to seem outdated.I mean with all these Big ass Harddrives and DVD Burners size does not matter anymore.

So I have to choose 224 CBR.

So true FC, for me the 192k is kinda like the "starting" line,
then the audio starts to sound pretty OK for my standars.

I do music myself, i have option to use mp3 in my Audio tracks (Cubase) but
i use 16bit 44.1k .wav files (cd-audio), i would use even higher but
    the hardware dont support it.

It matters if your ISP caps you for download usage

also I'm sure it matters for the poor 56kers
