Illegal ? Safe ?

im thinking of running a site which basically indexes cracks / serials. it dont host anything, is basically a search engine which "indexes" leading crack sites? only problem is it will be easy for the autherites to find my address etc, so is it illegal safe or what?

search engines has databases

it depends on where you are i guess - america, id forget it, but anywhere else isnt so bad i guess.

and how will it be hosted? on your pc? on ISP webspace?

if its your pc, prepare for people trying to hack you etc, you know how people can be

and are you gonna auto-index it (i.e. auto browse google)? or just go through astalavista and get all the hacks from there?

Oh dear, that&#39;s quite difficult indeed. You&#39;ll have to ask permission from the crack sites of course... and contacting crack sites is highly illegal unless you live in the Cook Islands. Did I mention that to get the databases needed, you&#39;ll have to pay several thousand dollars?
