Mpeg Files Have 'green Screen' After D/l

After I have finished d/l an mpeg file, some of them show only a green screen on WMP when playing back(audio ok). Does anyone know how to fix this error? Thanks.

videolan or install the klite codec pack

Do both of above, and stop using WMP.

Thanks, I will try videolan. The problems have only happened, since I installed a new hard drive. I have the k/l codec pack. Thanks fellas!
