ive just downloaded a game off kazza and when i try to extract the files i get a smaller compressed folder and when i try to extract the files out of that one i get the one i started with

can anyone please tell me if this is normal or if im just doing something wrong, cheers

oh yeah and im using winrar

run a test on the archive
right cilck the file, select winrar>test archive
probably errors, corrupted file

ok, open up winrar, select options>settings>intergration>context menu items
there you can select what items appear with the right click of a file

oh yeah, you may have to select "intergrate into windows shell"
(right above the menu items button)

when i try to test the file it just says that there are no archives in selected files or folders.

can u tell me what thats about

Load file up in WinRAR. Select all the files.
Then go into:

Commands -> Test Files...

didnt think there wouldnt BE ANY files

how big is the file?
if you hold the mouse over it you should get an info popup
(if ya got windows configured to do so)

if its only, like, a few kB up to a few hundred kB, maybe even a few MB,
its no game file

probably a pr0n dialer if you ever do get it open

just dump it is what i&#39;d do

oh im going to stop fooling myself, its a corrupt file, fuckin kazza, i said to myself id never download a big file again off kazza coz its shit. i downloaded 8 mile the other day and that was fucked as well, now this at 465mb.

i guess ill stick 2 suprnova

are you sure its a rar?
i mean, is it just named in the file "rar",
or did you check its properties?

i&#39;m pessimistic about ANY klite d/l&#39;s these days,
but maybe you could check into it a little more

go into windows explorer, (or open up any folder),
select tools>folder options>view>then uncheck "hide extensions for known file types"
maybe that&#39;ll help, or maybe just right clicking the file and checking its properties
could maybe tell ya if it actually is a rar

could be you just need to switch to emule or stick to suprnova
