    the movie is

    Cold.Mountain.SCREENER-TDi.1of2.avi
    Cold.Mountain.SCREENER-TDi.2of2.avi

I want to encode this, and watch it on DVD player and lend it too people, playing on video lan is useless and i hate watching movies on PC it looks shit

problem is TMPGE encodes it as the freeze shit and the picture doesn't move

I know there is a program to correct that? DivX Anti-Freeze? I think that may be what its called. It scans the file for bad frames and then will then remove them.

try using DivFix...if that doesn't work, try avipreviewc
On a given day or given circumstance, you think you have a limit.
And you then go for this limit and you touch this limit and you think "Ok, this is the limit".
As soon as you touch this limit, something happens and you suddenly can go a little bit further.

just because it plays fine on videolan doesnt mean that it is a perfect file, thats what videolan is use for to play hard files that are hard to play in othe media players
