I been looking at some Usb Drawing Tablets and I'm not sure what to look for in them.

I'm thinking that a larger size, maybe a 12x12 would be better than a 7x5

When I was looking at the 7x5 it talks about how it is for web design. Do you think it would be compatable with Adobe Photoshop (CS)?

Does anyone know anything about this kind of hardware? Any advice on what is good or bad?

    Thanks

if I call them, aren't they going to get me? (you know, down there)

Wacom tablets are pretty much the choice for illustrators/designers. Wacom tablets can be a bit expensive, but you get what you pay for. if your budget is limited, you might just wanna settle for a small Wacom (say, 7" or 5"). and you can expect that Wacom products are supported by most of the popular art/design software companies, so Photoshop would be no problem.

the Jam Studio one is not exactly what you'd call "professional quality" equipment. i'd even venture to guess that it's junk, given the reputation of the manufacturer (KB Gear, who went out of business in 2001, and whose garish "sunglasses, nose-rings & skateboards" themed packaging ought to have told people something about the quality). at this point i wouldn't expect the item to be receiving any driver/tech support either, even from unofficial sources.
