-When I started converting my avi file to mpg...I clicked on file and saved my project, after a while an error message came up and I clicked OK on it because I had no other choice but then the TMPGenc window closed and now I might have to start over...does anyone know how I can restore my file back, does anyone know what does saving my project can do or does??? thank you....and oh yeah what do I do after I am done converting it to a mpg file....
Yes, I believe you would have to strat over. I don't think there is an easy way to recover it. Saving a project just keeps the changes to the file without having to recompress it all, if you wanted to save your progress and finish making your changes later.
And what did you want to do with it, share it on kazaa?and oh yeah what do I do after I am done converting it to a mpg file....

It may do that because of bad frames, try repairing the file then try again. Once you have converted to MPG you can burn to CD and play through DVD player (if compatible). Check out the KVCD guide in my sig.
