Whats wrong with your key now?

I dont think office xp has the ability to change the key unless you reinstall and enter a new key or tweak the registry.

I dont think there are keychangers for that like there is for xp. I could be wrong.

You can do it by editing the Registry. Apply this procedure:

1. On the Start menu, click Run.

2. In the Open box, type regedit, and then click OK.

3. In Registry Editor, find the following subkey:

Code:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\10.0\Registration
Click the plus sign (+) next to this folder. If you see only one subkey in this folder that has a 32-character {GUID} (globally unique identifier), select that subkey and go to step 4.

If you see more than one subkey that has a 32-character {GUID}, select each one until you find the one whose DisplayName value (in the right pane) matches your version of Office.

4. For the selected {GUID} subkey, select the ProductID string value in the right pane.

5. On the Edit menu, click Rename

6. Type (you wanna back it up just in case )

OldProductID

and then press ENTER.

7. On the Registry menu, click Exit.

8. Start any Office program.

9. When the Microsoft Office XP User Information dialog box appears, type your valid product CD Key

There is not "registration" part, there is the 10.0, but no registration. The thin is that it is not currently really registered. It still has to be activated. The key i put in first said it was currently in use, so i need a way to change it

Thanks

There are tons of office xp activation cracks on the net.

I had one but lost when i didnt need it anymore. But they work great. You just cant update it.

Your better of getting a full version with sp2 integrated into it. There is one on kazaa.

I cant speak for Ben Hayes but when I had it it would just limit the functunality to a bare minimum. You cant even save files or anything once the trial is up.
