Teen brings wrong bullets to failed Dania Beach robbery

DANIA BEACH, Fla. - A teen trying to rob a convenience store was thwarted when he tried to load a rifle with the wrong-sized bullets.

The 16-year-old stormed into a 7-Eleven and pointed his long rifle at the store clerk, Broward County sheriff&#39;s spokesman Jim Leljedal said.

But a customer tackled the teen after seeing him trying to jam .40 caliber bullets into the .22 caliber rifle.

"It&#39;s like twice as big as the gun will fit," Leljedal said Wednesday. "It won&#39;t go."

Arrested on armed robbery charges, the state attorney&#39;s office will decide whether to charge him as an adult.

lolol, its so funny how these sheltered teens watch movies and think they know how to work a gun, I wish I wouldve been there, Id shoot him in the back of the knee with a gold-dot and then laugh at him untill paramedics came.
