started gettin errors, and the windows error thingy opened up a website that basically directed me to pestpatrol.

is pestpatrol considered best for finding spyware/adware..etc, since the windows error site thingy directed me to it?

anyways, i ended up downloading a full version of it. and wow was there quite a list of stuff. is it really ok to delete everything it found???? or does it find things that look like spyware or wutever, and is actually needed???

i remember someone posting something up saying if you delted everything it finds, you wont be able to use emule or klite? but could be fixed by reinstalling them..or wutever. anyways is there any other programs that might not end up working if i delete everything????

ok i hope i can get an answer asap, i am just going thro a search with pestpatrol right now, and i am kinda hesitant on deleting it all.

How different/superiour is it from Spybot or X-Cleaner (which I know so far are the best programs for spyware)

@brkofdon, you should see what things it gives in the report and then select the one's that sound suspicious. Normally in programs like these it lists all the keys associated and some info about the same.

This is the Corporate edition.By default it search for thinks you and me may want to keep.Like loader,keygens,cracks,and P2P apps.Go into options.Then in What to search for.Uncheck the items you do not want to search for.

just don't delete whatever it finds on kazaa.

kazaa lite uses the original kazaa connection or whatever, so pestpatrol thinks it is spyware.

wow i feel like a complete idiot now,

i got impatient last night, and too the risk. i briefly went thro the list, (very briefly) and went with deleting it all, and what a dumb risk i took. the result, i now cannot connect to the internet, and i have no clue what is missing that i need for the internet. feel so stupid, but a total lesson learned. i am using a labtop right now, and now i need someones help, in trying to find what i need to get my internet back up. i should have known better! i should have just picked the ones i knew weren't needed and took those out, i must of been trigger happy last night. well im pretty stumped on how to get my internet connected again. does anyone know of anything that i can do.

i cant even open up pestpatrol anymore to see its log, and find out what was really taken out, so i am really up the creek with no paddle. or wutever.

.....help?
