Downloaded an AVI file which was a resolution and FPS that could convert to
a DVD. Some I downloaded were not. Is there anyway of linking FPS with resolutions? I know before I download the resolution but not the FPS. 512X288, for instance, I WAS ABLE to put on a DVD. Thanks.

When you convert to DVD then the framerate is automatically changed to the correct value (PAL or NTSC).
The software that you use for the conversion does all that.

See if I got this right-download an avi file and then convert to DVD
and not MPEG2. If the fps is right? Right? Thanks.
