Wmv9 Hd Vs Dvd

this is a side by side compression from dvd and wmv9 hd downloaded from a.b.m.dvd-r it was taken from a west coast feed of hbo hd from a tivo
night and day difference, looks like I'll have to load wmp9 after all.

I see no big difference in the quality of 5th Element - sorry, 7th, but the movie is called 5th Element, isn't it? Although 7th sounds better...

Probably the image is too big, it is bigger than my screen. The WMV is a little more sharpen I think.

I was always under the impression the dvd was the best, well looks like I can download something better

Well maybe if you put this in the right Section instead of the Lounge.

As you can see all we care about is leeloo around here.

didn't really know where to put it, figured I'd leave it to a mod to move
could go to movie world or could go to software world cause its wmp encoded
guess its more for software world cause of the comparison between dvd
