Azureus is a Java BitTorrent client that runs on Windows, Linux and OSX. Don't know how you came to the conclusion that it only ran on Linux

I use ABC

Shadow's actually isn't great for multiple windows because it creates a process for each download, and each opens a hidden DOS window, which isn't good for memory because they keep the memory allocated for their hidden windows.

Azureus actually has like a million features, including the support for plug-ins. I think that's at least worth mentioning, added to that fact that it is multiplatform, since it's java based.

Technically, turbobt doesn't open torrents in new windows, it opens them in different tabs.

I think storm.com/]torrentstorm is worth mentioning, too. It has interesting features, including being able to choose the downloader core, but the thing I didn't like about it was that it opened a process for each download, at least if you chose Shadow's latest as the dloader core.

I think you should have gotten your facts straight before posting this, the version made by the original programer Bram Cohen at http://bitconjurer.org/BitTorrent , doesnt contain spywear, The version of it packaged with spywear, from the popup at suprnova comes from somewhere else entirely.

you forgot the best client Nova Torrent
EDIT:
Pros: simple GUI (like old xolox)
configurable upload bandwidth, including number of slots
uses a credit system. it will upload the most to whomever you download the most from.
it's great for fixing kazaa downloads that you can find a torrent for, you just swap your kazaa download with the torrent download (with nova closed) and it drops bad parts and relownloads them from BT without having to redownload the entire file
It's great for reseeding torrents as well
Cons:
sorry cant think of any
