I think it may look a bit dodgy when they go outside and its bit cold. Surely you'd see some pink bits then?

It would be fine most places in the us too. Except some streets with city ordinances against such behavior. It's the same thing in the states, that strippers are supposed to wear (clear) latex over their nipples. Some do some don't, but the point is for it not to be possible to directly see or touch the nipples. The paint in the pics serves pretty much the same pupose, so legally, in most places they would be cool.
