    Well if its not formatted already, then your going to have to before you create a new partition, im thinking its probably not formatted though seeing as how its not showing up in my computer.

    Click the 'help' in the upper right of the Disk Management to understand.

    That&#39;s wrong. You cannot format until you have a partition defined.

    I&#39;m formatting it right now..its on 5%. Once I make it my primary HDD can I change the letter back to C: and D:?

    you should just install windows onto the new drive then setup your current 80gb drive as slave AFTER windows has been reinstalled, then you can take off the stuff you need then reformat it once it is in your bros computer.

    oh and about the monitor, sucks that its like that but mine used to be like that and after fiddling with the settings for a while i got it perfect so keep trying, and about teh rainbow stuff, go to right click dekstop, properties, appearance, effects and uncheck smooth font edges using: cleartpye&#092;standard and that should fix the problem.

    well im just going to partition the new HDD now and then install windows..the monitor still aint working and ive tried every setting...none of them work..i will call tech support sometime or something...

    With regards to the monitor - are you using the correct driver, and are you using an appropriate refresh rate?
