    When I download a programme or a game and try to install it, all that happens is a black screen flashes up quickly then nothing happens does anyone know why this is.

    it is probably because the file you downloaded is not named correctly. Sometimes you have to rename the file like to *.rar or *.zip or *.iso or *.bin. Then you have to burn an image or uncompress them. There are also some cracks that you get from kazaa that do this. Those are viruses. So check the program and see what you got.

    that right exract them with winrar or winiso or mount them with daemon tools
