Attaching File Types

what file types can and can not be attached to posts?

I can only attach in some forums.

Why not this forum? Isn't it a good idea to allow attachments in this forum? What if somebody wants to post a screen shot?

I'm pretty sure .jpg .gif are allowed. Don't know about .bmp.
The file size is 150K
