Weird Problem With Nero

Im tryin to make a VCD usin Nero 5, and the file is only about 602MB, but when i add the file it goes way over the limit. The file's 602 MB (632,070,144 bytes), so how come it goes so much over the limit?

When you're burning a video CD, the actual file size doesn't matter. It goes by the length of the movie. You can fit about 74 minutes of video on a 650MB CD-R, and 80 minutes on a 700MB disc.
