most original DVD's are more then 5 GB so they wont fit on a empty disk because they are 'only' 4,7GB

it is possibel yes. but u cant usually have allt he extras on it.

When you use clone dvd mate use "anydvd" too for the protection

If it'll fit on a disc yeah mate,Otherwise it'll give you options the cut a few things out to fit.
If you cut the foreign crap and subs it should preserve the movie n menus fine.
