    How do i set up a free irc channel, that i am the moderator of and the users need a password to access. By the way what does the M in mirc stand for?

    mIRC = multiply internet reliable chat ... thats what if im not wrong

    and to register a channel .. u use the chanserv command
    here is the command list

    /ChanServ HELP = help

    /ChanServ REGISTER = Register a channel
    /ChanServ IDENTIFY =Identify yourself with your password
    /ChanServ SET =Set channel options and information
    /ChanServ AOP =Modify the list of AOP users
    /ChanServ SOP =Modify the list of SOP users
    /ChanServ ACCESS =Modify the list of privileged users
    /ChanServ LEVELS = Redefine the meanings of access levels
    /ChanServ AKICK = Maintain the AutoKick list
    /ChanServ DROP =Cancel the registration of a channel
    /ChanServ SENDPASS = Help retrive lost passwords

    u use them with help word after them and u will figure it out

    I try set the rules, like the entry message and the description, when I enter thechannel it doesn't show the description.
    Changed SPAN settings in sig a YEAR after it was removed

    what commands do u use ?
    is it on the channel info when u retired the channel list ?

    IRC = Internet Relay Chat
    Don't know what the 'm' stands for.

    To set a password for the channel type:
    /mode #roomname +k password

    yes rely not relay not reliable .. i knew there was something wrong about it lol
