Being on topic. Somebody said above, save for a 9800PRO. If you can find one, they'll probably drop to the same price as the 9600XT soon.

If you have the money, go for 9600XT.
If not, get a PRO, and o/c if you really want to.

EDIT: I still use floppy drives, for when the network screws up and I need to get work from one PC to the other.

Actually it is important to have floppies, especially for BIOS flashes, etc.
Who cares they only cost $5 or so...and come in handy.
