Just thought I'd open a new post with movies coming out with thier release dates. Some previously un-mentioned movies have been added with info and also added movies coming out in next few years. I thought it would be good to compile all movie posts like this into one.

thanks to 3RA1N1AC and Skillian for their list of movies to add to this.

    -----------------------------------------------------------
    Legend:

    Red
= Pre-Production that means the date will move a lot and is more at risk of being cancelled
    <span style='color:purple'>Purple
= Filming, thus filming has commenced and the film is set to be completed. the dates will not be solid just now.
Blue = Post-Production. General filming has been complete the film has to now be touched-up and seen if anything drastic is needed to be done. date not so set but usualy certain for same year.
Green = Complete. Filming and touch-ups are completed, Trailer and poster usually ready and the films date is fairly certain.
    -----------------------------------------------------------

**note: It was written by Kôji Suzuki, who wrote all other rings and another Hideo Nakata film (Dark Water). He is the main writer to the Ring franchise and Hideo adapted his original novels. so it would be expected that it would be similar to the Japanese sequel, but with quite strong differences

    -----------------------------------------------------------

Films for 2004 without a giving date

    Taxi - unknown 2004 - (status: post-production)
Sky Captain - expected 2004 last status "Post Production"
Untitled Mask Project - expected 2004 (status: Filming)
** Two working titles so far are:
    Mask II
    Son of a Mask

    Scary Movie 4 - expected 2004 (status: pre-production)
The Brothers Grimm - expected 2004 (status: post-production)

    -----------------------------------------------------------
    Cancelled Movies (may be re-opened)

Mad Max: Fury Road (aka Mad Max 4)
----&#62; Reason: Production offices have been closed, sets warehoused; project seems dead.

    -----------------------------------------------------------
Upcoming films of 2004 not mentioned in prevoius posts:

    *****************
    Mr and Mrs Smith:

    Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie

plot outline: A bored married couple is surprised to learn that they are assassins hired to kill each other.

    status: Filming
    expected 2004
    *****************
    Red Dwarf: The Movie

    main cast:

Chris Barrie (butler on Tomb Raider)
Craig Charles (done Robot Wars, Takashi&#39;s Castle, uk Ripleys believe it or not)
Danny John-Jules (done Blade II, Labyrinth, Lock stock & Two Smoking Barrels)
Robert Llewellyn (Scrap Heap Challenge, Hollywood Science)
    Norman Lovett
    Chloë Annett

plot outline: is set in the distant future where Homo Sapienoids, a fearsome combination of flesh and machine, and the next stage of human evolution, have taken over the solar system and almost wiped out the human race. The only survivors are the crews of long-haul space freighters that left Earth before the conflict began. The Sapienoids send forth fleets of Death Ships to hunt them down. One by one - the human ships fall, until only one remains. Its name - Red Dwarf...

Additional Info: Basically, it&#39;s taking from a popular UK tv series &#39;Red Dwarf&#39;. The plot is said to be nothing like the movie yet thats all they have released so far. the reason is because fans of the series then could work out the timeline, so are keeping everything "hush hush"

    status: filming commencing May
    *****************
    Chaos

    Robert De Niro

plot outline: Remake of the Japanese film Choas which was directed by genius Hideo Nakata, director of Ringu, Ring 2 and Dark Water. Choas is a deeply complicated plot revolving arround an old business man who&#39;s wife is kidnapped. However, his wife arranges her kidnapping and the man to do the kidnapping gets tied into a dangerous game which ends up in a confusing murder. Watch the Japanese film, it&#39;s really good but very confusing. I can&#39;t spoil the plot but its very twisted.

status: end of 2004 or 2005
