    the straight and simple answer is no it won't, as long as it doesn't at first burst in flames... that is the direct and easy answer...

    If your temps are ok, the vcore is ok... damage will only result when the higher vcore gets too hot and melts your cpu... so just watch dem temps...

    I doubt it, Abu.
    The only way to really know would be to test several hundred chips to destruction.

    another weird thing. i just ran 3dmark03 @ same settings at b4, and i got 400 points less than wat i had b4. wtf?

    what do you mean by same settings as before? Like with all of your old hardware? Or with your new hardware just not overclocked? Cuz you overclocked 800Mhz...there should be a significant diff in 3DMark03...

    not sure. i had 3900 something and now i have 3500. wtf!!!!!!!!! and 4 some reason the cpu game tests got terrible scores! wtf!1!!

    You didnt answer my questions...do you mean before all you new hardware your scores were better or after your new hardware but before it was overclocked?

    the Vcore setting are dangerous above 1.7 volts on a p4, so your fine
