Thread: Copying Protected Dvd Discs

    I can't find the topic that discussed how to get around the cd protection of a dvd disk...i am using a DVD-RW but still has the protection, could someone point me in the right direction please. thx

    You need to go to http://www.doom9.org/ and http://www.dvdrhelp.com/ and read about DVD-5/DVD-9.

    It's not really anything to do with copyright protection

    its the fact that the originals have 2 layers and DVD rs only have 1 layer

    get DVD shrink it's better IMO

    download any of the DVDXCOPY programs they are great

    dvd x copy- i agree. it quickly bypassed the cd copy protection. when the box pops up that asks "is this a rental" just say NO!
    lol
