I prefered Winamp3 in a way. I'm using 5.01 at the moment, but they removed the feature that I enjoyed.
For example, pretend 'x' is a space...
The playlist used to be like this...
1.xxxxAce Of Base - The Sign
2.xxxxAce Of Base - etc...
10.xxxAnimals - House Of The Rising Sun
100.xxAvril Lavigne - Complicated
Now it looks like...
1. Ace Of Base - The Sign
2. Ace Of Base - etc...
10. Animals - House Of The Rising Sun
100. Avril Lavigne - Complicated
It looks really weird and they refuse to implement it in further releases. If anyone knows a way to fix this, I'd be very greatful.
That feature is still there... sort of. The reason it looks the way it does now is because you're using a variable-width font. If you use a fixed-width font, the playlist looks like ('x' = space):
Code:
xx1. Artist - Title
x10. Artist - Title
100. Artist - Title
[/b][/quote]
Very interesting... although i see nothing in the preferences to change this, except size of font, and font type.
Here is a small screenshot of my Winamp. Font size is 12 and type is 'Gill Sans MT'.
What fonts are fixed-width?
