Thread: Firefox And Ie

  1. #1
I'd like to try out Firefox after all the advertising it got here , but I live with IE addicts. So...

    - Can I have both installed without conflicts?
    - Can I lose IE settings/passwords just by installing?

The Firefox FAQ doesn't help and I don't trust the IE one.

    Thanks B)

    Im using firefox right now:

just dont let ur IE addicts find out cuz firefox uses the netscape engine

if ur IE goes bad its a good option to have firefox on hand, actually its a good option to have firefox period with all the shit that IE has been getting ppl into

IE will still retain all its old settings, and Firefox will list all of your IE favorites in the bookmarks list.

    ull be fine

Just download the zip file ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/fir...Firefox-0.8.zip instead of the installer and extract in your user directory and use it from there. Your ie users wont even know its there.
