i downloaded it installed it and everything went fine i made my own team and went to train them up but when i click to do the first mission it starts to go to it says wait while working then screen goes black and the music stops working? iv got xp if that makes a difference

Mine runs fine then I am on ME (ok less of the flaming you lot),just stole this form another post have you tried it :-
Go to the directory where you installed the game.

Right click on the game's .exe, choose Properties, then click on the compatibility tab.
Tick the "Run this program in compatibility mode for" check box and choose Windows 95. Click Apply then Okay.

Oh and mine is cracked

worms armageddon will not work on windows 2000/xp systems without a patch. you can find 2 good ones on kazaa. i had my demo patched & played it for 20 mins or whatever they allow you to. i patched it again so that the demo doesn't expire but now it keeps askin for the cd, and i cannot find anything to help...
