New Logo Contest

Here we go:

I am sure you already noticed that our new logo is "just text" at the moment. Well it's because there has to be a placeholder

The current logo



is a gif image 226 x 100 pixels and contains a transparent area at the bottom.

We want to start a logo contest but there are a few requirements:

Requirements:
- size must be 226 x 100
- the transparent part must be like it is now
- the colors should be the same as they are now
- the little image on the right has to be included
- image size must be under 8 kb

What you can do:
- the slogan can be changed
- the font can be changed (must be readable)
- you can add your own style
- you can use 200 pixels for changes (not 226)
- fonts can be larger / smaller
- additional images are fine (within reason)

Please submit your creations as reply.

Our team will pre select 5 logos and start a poll within 10 days.

so using Xara3D is going to be a bit tricky now if were trying to keep it under 8 kb..

any other programmes you could use? i mean, ive got an image in my head... but using Xara is impossible...

Ok I guess I have to explain this one:

The logo 's width is 226 but by using 220 there will be a little space between the logo and the banner image which looks better than the sticking next to the banner (without space at all).

Switch to 800 x 600 and you will see that the logo currently sticks next to the banner

One question 7th: is animation allowed (provided it stays under 8KB)?

Animation should be no problem. But it shouldn&#39;t be too busy, that will become annoying very fast.
