    well, I"M TIRED OF GETTING RIPPED OFF FROM SCHOOL BOOKSTORES.every semester when i buy books it totals out to be like 400-500 bucks.....it's fuckin stupid, so now i've come here to ask if anyones had good luck finding good sites that sell textbooks for cheap and also reliability and all that.........i've heard about the amazon site, but i don't know...i'm trying to find out more so that i can check.......and also, is there a way to search for isbn numbers without having to go to the bookstore and writting it down? cuz they won't let me and apparently that's the only way to search for the correct books online or something...

    I heard half.com sold textbooks.

    If you know the title, Amazon usually posts the ISBN numbers.

    like i said, THEY FUCKIN RIP YOU OFF....IT'S ALWAYS LIKE A 100 BUCKS PER BOOK OR SOMETHING.....horrible, and i keep hearing guys who've bought the same fuckin book online from places like half.com and stuff for like 50 bucks.....i'm like, what the fuck, i just ran a search and the cheapest one is like 89.......damn......

    Relax man! Buy a scanner. I usually buy my books a few weeks before the start of the semester. Then I scan everything and get my full refund before that start of classes.

    Damn, that's a good idea, I've never thought of that.
    Of course it would take allot of scanning for the whole book, and a hell'va lot for all the books I've got this semester.

    and then what? i have a scanner, but never used it....
