    who makes the best laptops? or specializes in them? I just need a basic one for travel. thanks

    if its a basic 1 for travel then i suggest an IBM THinkpad

    otherwise, its gotta be an Alienware

    they barely make good comps... how the hell will they make a good labtop for fairly cheap???

    if your looking for a well make, cheap laptop, look at compaq. or hp compaq as they are now i think

    sony. dell. toshiba's ok. ibuypower makes pretty good laptops at very low prices. i just found out they're selling laptops.

    alienwares too, but u got to b swimming in $

    alienware is too expensive. u can buy the exact same system for much less by other companies. so far, alienware can only go as far as putting a 9600 on a laptop. well, ibuypower can do that too for much less

    NO HP NO HP NO HP NO HP NO HP NO HP NO HP. 2 of my friends have HP laptops, and as a matter of fact im on one right now&#33; when i touch the bottom of it it literaly burns me. Its so freaking hot. Slow, not very good at all. Dell has the best stuff, and AWESOME support. I had a Dell deminsion before I built my new one, and could call them, tell them my monitor was broken, and id have a new one shipped 2 me almost immediatly&#33; DONT GO THERE, GO DELL haha
